Day 140

Hadley has really taken a liking to her bumbo chair. It has really helped me a lot, too. She can sit in that in play with her keys or a doll, or her blocks for a good 20 minutes, longer if I am within her eye shot. It enables me to clean or cook dinner (better yet eat dinner). The best part about it is that no part of her head is up against a hard surface, so I am hoping this really helps her torticolis. I have had a few people ask me about this condition. Basically all that has happened is one side of her skull is a little flat as opposed to round. It’s good we caught it, and with physical therapy and maybe a helmet down the line, she will be perfectly normal.
